Meet The Team
Ron Cook has now retired – after a long, successful osteopathic career.
Ron qualified from the European School of Osteopathy (in Maidstone in the UK) in 1977 and set up an Osteopathic Clinic in the beautiful village of Wye in Kent. During this time, he was also lecturing in anatomy at the Osteopathic School and supervising senior students in the school's Osteopathic Clinic.
After 14 years in England, Ron returned to New Zealand in 1986 to set up the Cambridge Osteopathic Clinic with Rosemary and has worked there ever since.
Over the years, Ron has developed specialised treatments and skills for dealing with acute musculo-skeletal injuries, young babies and patients with multiple health challenges that have remained unresolved over a period of time.
Rosemary qualified as an Osteopath in 1984 after studying at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent. She came to New Zealand in 1986 and established the Cambridge Osteopathic Clinic in Cambridge with Ron to serve the local community.
Rosemary shared motherhood with her Osteopathic work over the years and feels passionate about the vision to help patients with chronic pain. Rosemary believes in a unique treatment approach for each individual because of the various interconnections between different problems in the human body.
She gains enormous satisfaction from helping people who have had chronic long term pain, easing pains resulting from pregnancy and helping to resolve acute problems resulting from trauma.
